SOSHELPS LLC was founded in 2022 by Tammy Foxworth, who wanted to make a difference in the lives of homeless individuals. Since then, we have grown to become a facilitator for the homeless in the area, serving men and veterans each year.
Soshelps is in this field to help those in need. We have the compassion to network throughout the cities to help find suitable housing and support for our veterans and homeless men. Unlike our competitors, we're invested in developing a personal connection with each of our clients and supporters to ensure this is an ongoing service to help those gain stability in their lives, by providing quality service and being available to you 24/7. Contact us when you're ready to learn more; we can't wait to meet you!
Many of our guests struggle with mental health issues, which can make it difficult for them to access the resources they need. Our mental health services provide counseling and support to help individuals overcome these challenges.
Good mental health isn’t the same thing as a lack of a mental health disorder. You can have “poor” mental health and not have a mental health condition. Mental health contributes to how we cope with stress, how we conduct our relationships and the level of risk we assume with our choices. Valuing life refers not just to your own life but to the lives of those you love and regarding their lives as valuable both to you and independently of you.
Founded in 2005, SOSHELPS LLC began as a small shelter in downtown. Today, we serve over 500 individuals every year, providing them with the resources and support they need to get back on their feet.
We offer a range of programs including housing assistance, job training, mental health services, and addiction recovery to help our residents achieve lasting success.
Volunteers are the lifeblood of our organization. Whether you can commit to a few hours a week or a few hours a year, we welcome your support.
Your support can help us provide essential services and support to those struggling with homelessness. Every dollar counts, and every donation makes a real difference.
Over the years, we've helped hundreds of individuals overcome homelessness and achieve lasting success. Read some of our success stories to learn more about the impact of our work.
